CrossFit

We offer small group classes led by certified coaches. Our aim is that our athletes receive adequate instruction before, during and after each workout.

CrossFit is the practice and strengthening of functional movement.  These are the types of movements you use in every day life; picking things up off the floor, carrying weight while you walk, sitting in a chair, walking up stairs, etc.  Other sports and activities are specific to their needs (eg kicking a soccer ball, punching a heavy bag, Yoga positions).  CrossFit strengthens your body to perform the basic, daily tasks we all have.  

CrossFit is also varied in it's movements and intensity.  We focus on "relative intensity" which means everyone works equally as hard but performs different amounts of work.  You don't need to run as fast or lift as much weight as someone else to be expending the same amount of energy.  This is why CrossFit works; it is about the work and intensity YOU are capable of doing.  It's you versus you... not you versus anyone else.
