He promised me a computer to game with if I was committed and showing improvement for more than 6 months.

What's your athletic/fitness background?

Rob: I was a runner but I joined the Volunteer fire department in NY where we lived and needed to improve my fitness level and knew crossfit was a great fit for me.

Colin, do you also play any sports in school? If so, do you think CrossFit helps you in any way with other sports?

I play baseball, football and do cross country. Yes it helps my endurance and agility

What's your favorite thing about CrossFit Inland Valley?

Are you both competitive with each other during the WODs?

Not really, but we both encourage each other to finish and do the movements correctly.

How’s your diet/nutrition?

We both eat like a 12 year old boy....

What’s your favorite “cheat meal”?

Every meal right now is a cheat meal, but the plan is for that to change starting December 26.

Rob: heavy metal.

Colin: Classic Rock

What’s your fitness goal? What would you like to accomplish with CrossFit?

Rob: leaner stronger, be able to compete at a intermediate level and do competitions with Colin as my partner.

Colin: 200lb deadlift and strict pull ups and ready myself for my sports each season.

Do you have any advice to a new member trying CrossFit for the first time?

Rob: have fun, get through the first month. That's when you start to see real progress.

Colin: don't compare yourself to others. Compete with yourself. Push your limits so you know what they are.

Do you have a CrossFit story to share with us? Something that happened during a WOD or a class that you will always remember?

Rob: watching Colin run those last laps or do those last reps with others in the gym. It always makes me proud.

Colin: I like to finish and help others finish. No particular time just whenever I can help others or cheer them on.

Rob and Colin, it's been such a great pleasure to have you both as part of our CFIV Family! Colin, thank you for running with the last members to finish the WOD, that is really nice of you and gives them that extra "push" to finish so they can feel the accomplishment.

You will both be competing on a higher level together very soon, we can see how much you have improved! Keep it up and have an amazing 2016!!!!
