In this triplet workout, athletes will choose a weight on the barbell that they could complete for 12+ repetitions unbroken when fresh. Within the workout, looking for these to be completed somewhere between 2-3 sets. Athletes with goals of competing in the sport of CrossFit can complete chest to bar pull-ups, while athletes with goals that lie in health or outside the gym can complete chin over bar pull-ups. If short on Rowers, stagger by 2 minutes. ### THE WHY: You’ll notice later in the session plan that we have planned for two practice rounds. Amongst a handful of benefits, running classes through practice rounds is a great way for athletes to test the weights and movements they will be using in the workout. After these rehearsals, athletes are more likely to make any necessary weight adjustments prior to the workout, rather than in the middle. This is also a great time for coaches to see athletes move with their potential workout weight and have conversations with them regarding weight/movement selection.
